Hyatt Regency, Jersey City, NJ Weddings

I photographed this wedding at the Hyatt Regency, Jersey City, NJ for Jessie and Michael last Saturday. We were right across the water from Manhattan with an excellent view right from the ballroom. Jessie and Michael made photography the centerpiece of their day -- great for me! Thanks Jessie and Michael for a beautiful day from a beautiful couple! -- Faith

Kaya and Wale's Engagement Photos

I photographed the graceful Kaya and handsome Wale recently in the very Philadelphia location of Broad Street. It was fun for me to do "gritty urban" engagement photos! Kaya and Wale were complete naturals in front of the camera. Here are some of the photos.

Wedding album for Amanda and John

Hi, all! I just finished a wedding album for Amanda and John and wanted to show it off. Here it is...We also offer traditionally matted albums with prints in double-matted pages. But the magazine-style albums, such as the one pictured here, are becoming quite popular!

Down Town Club-Cathedral Basilica - Philadelphia Wedding Photography

Hi, all brides, grooms and vendors! This is a brand new blog for Faith West Photography. We're really excited about the chance to showcase our work so quickly after the weddings happen. Thanks to the highly talented videographer and all around great guy Dave Williams of DVideography for nudging Faith to create a blog!

The first post on our new blog is from the beautiful wedding of Amanda Gormley and John DiChello at the Cathedral Basilica and the Down Town Club on 3/8/08. Amanda and John faced the gale force winds and driving rain on their wedding day with such grace -- and were rewarded with the sun coming out just in time for wedding party portraits!

The vendors for this wedding were:

The incomparable Mark Kingsdorf of Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants. We love dealing with you -- you calm brides' nerves and are such a joy! http://www.qohweddings.com

Florist Carl Alan Creations. The vibrant pink tulips really picked up everyone's spirits on this rainy, cold day. http://www.carlalan.com

Band: Gina & The Corner Boys of VPS Entertainment. I had never heard this band before, but they were excellent, and an excellent bargain as well, I hear. I'm going to use this as a money-saving tip for my clients in the future. http://www.thecornerboys.com

And of course, the elegant Down Town Club with the fantastic view of the city and impeccable service. They're so generous with everyone that the food we photographers eat is the same gourmet meal (and sumptuous dessert) that is fed to the guests! Yum! Thanks! http://www.downtownclub.com

And finally, the Cathedral Basilica of Philadelphia. We in Philadelphia are lucky to be blessed with a collection of the most beautiful churches in the U.S. Yet the Cathedral Basilica on Logan Circle is the grandest of them all. Cathedral Basilica website
