How Faith West Photography handles the personal information you share with us, the cookies we set, and the choices that remain yours.

Introduction to Our Privacy Practices

Faith West Photography is a wedding and engagement photography studio based in the Philadelphia region. This site exists to share real weddings, venue guides, and advice for couples planning their day. When you read those stories or reach out to us, some information naturally passes between your browser and our servers.

This policy explains what we collect, why we keep it, and what you can do about it. We have written it in plain language on purpose. A privacy notice that nobody can read protects nobody.

If anything here raises a question, the fastest route to an answer is our Contact Us page. We would rather you ask than guess.

Information We Collect

The information falls into three buckets, and only one of them depends on you choosing to share anything.

Technical logs

Every visit leaves a trace. Our servers record your IP address, the type of browser you use, and the pages you open while you are here. This happens automatically and applies to every visitor. We use it to keep the site running and to understand which gallery or guide drew you in.

Contact submissions

When you send a message through the contact form, you hand us your name, your email address, and whatever details you type into the body of the inquiry. A couple asking about a September date at a riverside venue gives us exactly enough to reply well. We do not need more than that, so we do not ask for it.

Subscription inputs

If you sign up for occasional updates, we hold the email address you provide. That is the whole record. You gave it; you can take it back at any time.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Ours fall into a few categories, and not all of them are optional.

Strictly necessary cookies

These remember your consent choices and hold your session together as you move from page to page. Without them, the site simply would not function as intended. There is no toggle for these because they carry no tracking purpose.

Analytics cookies

These tell us how visitors move through the site and how quickly pages load. They are how we learn that a particular real-wedding feature gets read end to end while another loses people halfway. The data informs what we publish next.

Advertising cookies

We do not currently run advertising cookies. We are noting them here because we may introduce ad personalization in the future, and we would rather be transparent now than surprise you later. Should that change, this section and our consent banner will reflect it.

Managing cookies

Your browser is the control panel. Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete them, or be warned before one is set. Turning off the necessary ones may break parts of the site, but the choice is yours to make. For a fuller breakdown, see our Cookie Policy.

Integration with External Services

A site like this leans on a handful of outside providers. Naming them is part of being honest about where your data travels.

For analytics, we use platforms that aggregate visit patterns and performance figures. We may add or replace these tools over time as our needs shift. Ad networks are not part of the picture yet, though our planning anticipates an integration down the road, which is why the advertising section above exists at all.

Hosting and content delivery are handled by third-party infrastructure providers. They keep the galleries loading and the images sharp wherever you happen to be reading from. These providers process technical data in the ordinary course of serving the site to you.

Each external service operates under its own privacy terms. We choose providers with that in mind, but their handling of data is theirs to govern.

How We Use Collected Information

Purpose matters more than volume. Here is what the information actually does once we have it.

  • Enhancing your experience. Knowing which venue guides and engagement stories resonate helps us shape the site around what couples genuinely want to read.
  • Measuring performance. Analytics show us load times, drop-off points, and traffic patterns so the site stays fast and useful.
  • Responding to inquiries. When you write to us about photographing your wedding, your contact details exist for one reason: so we can write back.

We do not sell your personal information. The data we hold serves the running of this site and our conversation with you, nothing further.

Your Data Subject Rights

You hold real rights over the information we keep about you, and exercising them should be simple.

Access

You may ask what personal data we hold and request a copy of it.

Deletion

You may ask us to erase your data. If you sent an inquiry months ago and would rather it no longer sit in our records, say so and we will remove it.

Tracking opt-out

You can decline analytics and similar cookies through the consent banner or your browser settings, as described above.

How to reach us

Any data-related request goes through the Contact Us page. Tell us what you want done, and we will confirm once it is handled.

Data Storage and Deletion Procedures

We hold information only as long as it serves a purpose. Contact submissions stay with us while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you return to the same inquiry. Subscription details remain until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept for a limited window and then cycle out.

When data reaches the end of its useful life, or when you ask us to remove it, we delete it from our active systems. Backups follow their own retention cycle and clear in turn. The aim is straightforward: keep what we need, let go of what we do not.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Practices evolve. New tools arrive, regulations shift, and the advertising integration mentioned earlier may one day become real. When the substance of this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page and revise the relevant section.

For significant changes, we will make the update visible rather than burying it. Reading the current version here is always the surest way to know where things stand. Has anything here left a question unanswered? That is exactly what our Contact Us page is for.
