Terms of Service and Website Usage Stipulations
The terms that govern how you browse, read, and use the Faith West Photography website.
Last updated: 12 February 2025
Your Acceptance
When you open this website and start reading, you agree to the terms set out below. That is the simple version. There is no checkbox to click and no form to sign — the act of using the site is itself the agreement.
These terms apply to everyone. A bride planning a Philadelphia ceremony, a fellow photographer browsing the galleries, a curious visitor who landed here by accident — all of you are covered by the same rules.
If any part of this page sits poorly with you, the honest answer is to stop using the site. We would rather you leave on good terms than stay on terms you never accepted.
User Obligations and Permitted Use
Most of what we ask is ordinary courtesy. When you fill in a contact form or an enquiry, give us accurate details. A wrong email address helps no one, least of all the couple waiting for a reply that never arrives.
What we ask of you
- Submit truthful, current information through any form or booking request.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses, or breach its security.
- Follow the laws that apply to you wherever you are using the service.
The content itself is here for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Look at the photographs. Read the advice. Share a link with a friend who is engaged. What you should not do is reproduce galleries in bulk or fold our material into a commercial project of your own without asking first.
The trademarks, the photographs, the words — these stay with their owners. A wedding image carries the weight of a single irreplaceable day, and we treat that ownership seriously. If you want to use something commercially, write to us. The answer is often yes when the question is asked.
Warranty Disclaimers and Liability Limitations
Everything on this site is offered in good faith and without warranties of any kind. We write our photography advice from years of working real weddings, but we cannot promise that every detail is error-free or that every article reflects the latest practice.
Prices change. Venues close. A tip that held true last season may need a second look this one. So treat what you read here as informed guidance, not gospel — and when a decision matters, consult a qualified professional before you act on anything you found on these pages.
A note on liability: we accept no responsibility for losses that arise from using this site, including indirect or consequential damages. These limits apply as far as the law permits, and no further.
That last clause is not us hiding behind fine print. It is simply the boundary every publisher draws between sharing knowledge freely and underwriting decisions we never saw being made.
Governing Law and Policy Modifications
These terms are read and interpreted under the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. Should a dispute arise that cannot be settled in conversation, it falls to the competent local courts to decide.
If a single clause here is found unenforceable, the rest stand untouched. One faulty brick does not bring down the wall.
When the terms change
We may revise this page from time to time, sometimes without prior notice. A policy that fit the site circa two years ago may not fit it now, and we would rather keep it current than leave it stale.
Your continued use after a change confirms you accept the revised version. The practical habit worth forming: glance at the last updated date near the top whenever you return. If it has moved, something below it has too. Worth a read?
Contact Information
Questions about these terms are welcome, and they reach a real person rather than a form letter. If something here is unclear or you need permission for a particular use, send a note through the channels listed on our Contact Us page.
For how we handle the details you share with us, the Privacy Policy sets out the full picture, and the Cookie Policy covers what happens in your browser as you read.
